Aqua Trails is proud to offer two professionally guided kayak trips per week at the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor, launching from their own serene dock directly into a vibrant salt marsh. The trip duration is between 2 and 2.5 hours and will get you very close to the abundant bird and marine life that abounds in these carefully protected waters. We utilize sit-on-top kayaks for ease of use and instruction, giving you more time enjoying nature and getting fit. All equipment is provided and all instruction is included. Be prepared to get a bit wet from the waist down, so a bathing suit bottom or quick drying shorts are suggested, as well as a waterproof bag or case for a jacket or camera. Please note there is no restroom at this location. Park in the main lot and enjoy the walk down their own clamshell driveway to the boat dock along Scotch Bonnet Creek. Our crew will await you there to get the process started.
